Be Your Authentic Self

If people could do one thing to improve their health, what would you recommend they do?

Start by educating yourself so you are equipped to make truly informed decisions. And then, be your authentic self. Live your life on your own terms and walk your own path without fear of judgment. To do this you will need to develop an integrated character with ethical values, heart-based integrity, empathy, and moral courage at its core.

Being your authentic self means you don’t allow other people and circumstances to dictate who you are. Sadly, many people don’t even know who they authentically are because they don’t even realize how much their lives are being dictated by what other people think is best for them.

When we are not in alignment with who we are and our nature, we are destined for a life of disease. When we realign with who we truly are and our natural principles, stop allowing other people to dictate who and what we are, stop being a people-pleaser and worrying about the opinions of others, and be authentically us, as long as we are coming from a position of love and compassion, only then will we realize the secret to inner peace and sound health.

To summarize, if you are given to fear, worry, jealousy, greed, or any other inharmonious state of mind and expect perfect physical health, you are expecting the impossible, for you are continually sowing the seeds of disease in your mind. That’s why it’s so important to remember that true health and true success go together because they are inseparably intertwined in the thought-realm.
